Review Influenster TLC VoxBox

Hey Y'all!!  I am so sorry I'm a bit late reviewing this box from Influenster.  It came while I was having my health issues...but I have it for you today!  Since I'm a bit late, I'm going to include everything in one post :)

So Influenster sent me the TLC VoxBox, which is described as a box for all the mothers, and it is!  The box included:  Neosporin Neo To Go, Ivory Bar Soap, Puffs To Go, Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card, Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother and Breyers Gelato Indulgences.  So let's get started!

First up is Neosporin Neo To Go ($4.97 to $7.50):
If you're a Mom, or clumsy person, or athlete, you are familiar with Neosporin.  It is an anstiseptic pain relief ointment that has always come in tube in a gel form.  My ballerina loves the stuff, especially the pain relief part.  Neosporin has been a part of our household since she was born, altough I've never been a fan of having to touch the stuff...it's always felt greasy.  But now Neosporin has come out with Neo To Go, a convenient no touch spray!  I love this idea!  Sadly though, mine didn't work :(  I am going to buy it for the teen though and I will update y'all on how it works then.

Next is Ivory Bar Soap ($3.99 for a 10 pack):
Ok, I have to tell you, this product led to some pretty funny conversations in my house...my daughter has never used a bar of soap!  Yep!  Fourteen years old and never used a bar of soap.  That led Mr. Glitteryfingers and I to explain how, while growin up, we hated bar soap.  We told her about how the entire family shared one bar of soap to shower; how the soap never really dried and instead just got all goopy as it seemed to melt; and how soap always left a film on your skin.  Suffice it to say she was horrified.  That's when I handed her the Ivory Soap and made her use it!  LOL

As it turns out, we all liked it.  While we all felt like it left a slight film on our skin, once we were dry, our skin felt soft and didn't feel coated with anything.  It is a very mild soap with no dyes or heavy perfumes.  And on a side note, it hasn't become a melted mush in our shower!

Next in the box was Puffs To Go ($0.49 per pack):

I don't have a picture, but y'all know what these look like, the small packet of tissues in a plastic pouch.  These were very handy and held up well in my purse.  These also had lotion in them making them very soft.

The VoxBox also included a Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card (free):
Ok, if you have read my blog for any length of time, you know I live out in the middle of no where, literally.  I live in a very rural area and there isn't much around here.  We do have one (yes...one) shell station in the town and it's actually pretty close to me, only about 10 miles.  This card allows you to save 3 cents per gallon, which is nice.  The reward part works like this, you earn points by buying specially marked items in the Shell store, car washes, dining at certain restaurants and shopping on their on-line mall.  As you earn points, you earn money off of the price of gas, up to 75 cents per gallon!  If you are interested, click here for more information.

Also in the VoxBox was Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother ($30):
First, I'm a sucker for great packaging, and Avon did a wonderful job with this product!  The compact has a mirror finish.  Seriously. You can use it as a mirror:
It was really hard to photograph.  Then, the lid slides back:
Isn't that fabulous?  Just be careful when opening it, I stabbed I with my nail.  And the best part?  IT WORKS!!!  Seriously!!  Instantly blurs your wrinkles!   Did it get rid of all my lines?  No.  But it definitely improved them!  I have to be honest, I'm so amazed this works.  I have tried SO many products that promise results and I've been let down time and time again.  Avon is my new hero.  Just one bit of warning.  It's recommended to put this over your make-up (it has a matte effect) or over your moisturizer.  I recommend putting it over both.  There is a slight burn/tingle when you first use it.  If you've ever used a product with retinol, you know what I mean.

I can not recommend this product enough!!!

Last, but SO not least, I received a coupon for a free Breyers Gelato Indulgences ($4.49 to $5.99):
Let me start by saying, I LOVE the commercials for this stuff!  The Mom & Dad hiding in the kitchen from the kid, eating it in the dark.  You are not a real Mom until you have hidden in the closet sneaking a candy bar!  And yep, I've done that!  Sorry, not sorry ;) That being said we did share with the kid.

Breyers Gelato Indulgences comes in four flavors:  Vanilla Caramel, Triple Chocolate, Tiramisu and Raspberry Cheesecake. We chose Vanilla Caramel.
Holy Moley!!  This stuff was phenomenal!!  So rich!  So creamy! Just so dang good!!!  My one and only regret with this is that I didn't hide in the closet and eat the whole thing by myself! Sharing stinks!  So Moms, wives, any female...run, don't walk to your nearest store, buy this, rush home and hide in your closet and enjoy a few moments of Paradise!!

I hope you enjoyed today's post!  Have a fabulous day!!
