Review: Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate

Press Sample

Hey Y'all!!  Happy Friday!!  Is it just me or has this been a really long week?  I am so glad the weekend is here.  And so excited about "Catching Fire" coming out on dvd!  After the teen's dance classes and rehearsals, we're going to have a movie night.  Then it's time to "spring forward".  I know I keep saying this, but I can't stand time changes.  Although, the Daylight Savings Time is the time I wish we stayed on.  I much prefer it being light later in the day.

But on to today's review.  Now, y'all know, I can't stamp.  I've tried and tried and failed miserably.  So what possessed me to want to review stamping plates from Born Pretty Store?  The hope that one day, I would get this.  And you know what?  I DID!!  I can stamp now!!!! And I thank Born Pretty Store for my new found ability!!

So, I have their stamping plate, QA 20, which is a set of French tip designs:
First, let me point out my favorite thing about this plate, they come in different sizes!  So you're not trying to stamp your pinky and thumb with the same stamp.  This is so perfect, and makes stamping on your toes possible.  I started with the scroll design:
Look!!!   I stamped!!!  I'm so excited!!!  The above shows the scroll design.  The design on the plate is for more rounded nails, so all I did was use the same polish I used in the stamp and filled in the rest of my tip.   The rest of the designs on the plate are:
From left to right are flowers, a cluster of flowers, hearts (a little crooked, my fault) and checkered board.  Aren't they fabulous?

There are also bows:
I put them at different places to give you different ideas of where the stamp could go on your nail.

The last design on the plate is another bow, it kind of reminds me of a necklace.  Although I placed this at the tip, I think this would make a fabulous stamp at your cuticle, like a half moon:
The stamping plate worked beautifully.  The images are nice and deep and leave nice clean stamps.  Any streaking was caused by me when I put the top coat on.  I was just so excited that I finally had stamps that worked out, I didn't wait long enough to give the stamps time to dry.  I put the top coat on immediately.

The plates can be found by clicking here.  Plates range from $0.99 to $2.99 and sets of plates starting at $7.99.
